Advanced Air Defence (AAD) Mobile Launcher System (MLS)

The AAD MLS is a Multi-technology Weapon Platform jointly developed by Tata Advanced Systems with DRDO. It is an all-electric Launcher designed for all-weather and all-terrain day / night operation. The Launcher is mounted on a 12X12 HMV chassis and is designed to carry, orient and fire Six Canisterised Missiles in Single or Salvo Mode, from a stationary inclined launch position. A single truck carries the entire Launch Control System along with its power generation system. The AAD MLS provides a dual redundant communication link to the Launch Control Complex (LCC) comprising an RF Wireless Link and a Physical Link.
