RAJAK – Thermal Imagers and Night Vision Devices

We are working towards the goal of complete self-reliance and indigenisation in the field of Night Vision Devices and towards this goal have made substantial advances in creating the necessary infrastructure such as Class 10,000 Clean Rooms with Class 100 Benches, in-house Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) Test facilities etc. Assembly, Testing and Manufacture of Night Vision Devices, Uncooled & Cooled Thermal Imaging Systems, 3rd Generation Image Intensifier Tubes of FoM >1800+ and the assembly and testing of complex Electro-Optic (E0) payloads are being undertaken.

A wide range of EO systems to meet every requirement at the best price / performance ratio is the strong point of our Optronics offerings. We have supplied Cooled Thermal Imagers to the Border Security Force (BSF), which are integrated to provide 24x7 Surveillance and Observation at the Border. We have also developed an Ultra Long-Range Observation System (LORROS equivalent) with detection ranges of more than 20km The system is operationally deployed at our National Borders and is also undergoing trials with the Indian Army. Tata A&D has supplied latest Gen3 FoM 1700+ Night Vision Devices to various Special Forces all over India, including National Security Guard (NSG), the foremost Counter Terrorism force in India. We have also supplied over 250 Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured Uncooled Thermal Sights to the Indian Army Special Forces in Operational Areas. We have also bagged a prestigious order from the Indian Navy for the supply of high-end Helmet Mounted Night Sights for use by Navy’s Special Forces. The order was received after a stiff competition in a global tendering process. We have also successfully executed Export orders to international clients
