INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEM, SAMYUKTA FOR THE INDIAN ARMY

Tata Advanced Systems as a Major Work Centre and part of a consortium with DRDO and Defence PSUs, has made a significant contribution in the development of an Integrated Electronic Warfare System, SAMYUKTA for the Indian Army.

This system comprises a hierarchical network of vehicle-mounted tactical systems, integrated via a dedicated intra-communication system. Deployed along the Forward Edge of Battle Area, SAMYUKTA enables the Army to obtain a tactical advantage over the enemy by intercepting and monitoring enemy resources and neutralising through jamming from High Frequency to Millimeter Wave.

In the SAMYUKTA program, Tata Advanced Systems was assigned the total turn-key responsibility for developing and integrating COM and Non-COM Control Centres and sub-systems of Front-end Entities.

Tata Advanced Systems’ contribution to the Program covered a wide canvas such as:

System conceptualisation and design
Development of high performance, state-of-the-art, rugged Control Workposts, which are the main computing units within the Control Centres
Control Centre software
Auto Track Receiver Digital Processor (ATRDP) for Non Com entities
Engineering of the COM and Non-COM entities
Successful completion of the Core System Demonstration
Integration of the Control Centres with Front-end Entities and higher echelons
Completion of the production orders for the engineered COM and Non-COM Control Centres
Providing field support and upgrading the functionalities as per the user requirements
